You need to change the network settings before using the client! It will work without. But in this case it will use the public rustDesk server! So traffic is routed via that server and not my private one!

General Information
- RustDesk provides remote support for and from a lot of different devices/OS like teamviewer.
- It can (and is in this case) self-hosted. So no public 'free' services are used.
- All traffic is routed encrypted via the private servcer
- All you need is the matching client for your device/OS. Se link below
